Abstract:

In certain embodiments, an apparatus comprises a battery housing and mechanical switches. The battery housing is configured to house one or more batteries and comprises a connector configured to provide current to a device. A surface of the battery housing forms slots, where each slot is configured to receive a battery. Each mechanical switch is coupled to a slot and is configured to allow current from the battery to flow to the connector if a battery is received in the slot, and to pass current through the slot if a battery is not received in the slot.

Abstract:

A focal plane array detector method and system and the detector circuit comprising a plurality of detector circuits, each of the detector circuits comprising a first capacitor having upstream and downstream electrodes, circuitry for periodically applying a predetermined constant voltage source to the downstream electrode and then removing the constant voltage source from the downstream electrode, a photodetector for applying an input signal to the upstream electrode, a signal storage device for storing the input signal on the downstream electrode at the first capacitor and a coupling device for periodically coupling the signal storage device to and uncoupling the signal storage device from the downstream electrode a predetermined time after the constant voltage source has been removed from the upstream electrode and a multiplex circuit coupled to each of the signal storage devices for providing a serial output of the signals stored on the signal storage devices. The system is disposed on a single semiconductor chip.

Abstract:

An optical super-elevation device including an elevation follower mirror that counter-rotates with an opposite angular rate to the weapon elevation rate, thereby maintaining the line of sight to the target during the elevation process. In one example, the optical super-elevation device includes a modular housing having a mounting bracket configured to fixedly mount to at a weapon or azimuth axis of a tripod, an elevation follower mirror rotatably mounted within the housing, and a mirror actuator coupled to the elevation follower mirror and configured to counter-rotate the elevation follower mirror at an angular rate opposite to an elevation rate of the weapon to maintain a line of sight to a target during super-elevation of the weapon.
