I moved from Palos Verdes, California to the "Queen City" Charlotte, NC in 1989. Having made such a long distance move myself, it gives me great insight as to the issues one encounters when relocating to a new and much different city. In the past year my husband and I downsized and moved to the opposite side of the city. I am the mother of two fabulous children (adults now!), and grandmother to four very wonderful grandchildren whom I adore! Though I lived in California for 14 years, I was born and raised in Michigan (Goodbye Winter). Charlotte has grown immensely since I moved here. She continues to expand and welcome new growth. I've enjoyed all the city has to offer, plus being able to get to the beach in three hours and the mountains in 2...definitely has its advantages. As a "transplant", I can honestly say Charlotte is a fun and exciting place to live. I began working in the real estate industry in 1990, shortly after moving to Charlotte. My service areas include all of Charlotte, Matthews, Pineville, Waxhaw, Weddington and Mint Hill, along with regions surrounding Charlotte. I am also licensed in South Carolina and service the northern-most areas in that vicinity and work with construction, single family homes, re-sales, condos, and townhomes in allmentioned areas.
