Morgan Markey comes from an art background, starting as an assistant within the Sotheby's auction division in Boston. She spent her first years of college studying product design, ultimately moving on with a B.A in Art History from George Washington University. As an active member of the DC community, Morgan began as an assistant curator in galleries throughout the city before moving on to become a staff writer for DC event websites, including Pink Line Project and Guest of a Guest. She also recently began volunteering at Kingdom Kids, a day care center in the DC Bloomingdale neighborhood. Morgan has traveled to over 30 countries and is proficient in Spanish.
