A plurality of model portfolios is received. Each model portfolio is from a respective manager and includes a listing of securities and a respective weight for each security. The plurality of model portfolios is blended to form a blended manager model including a blended listing of securities and a respective blended weight for each security. Abstract:

A method for selecting among taxable accounts, non-deductible tax-deferred accounts, deductible tax-deferred accounts, and tax-exempt accounts from which to withdraw funds to minimize tax consequences prioritizes withdrawal from taxable accounts and non-deductible tax-deferred accounts over withdrawal from deductible tax-deferred accounts and tax-exempt accounts. The method also prioritizes between taxable accounts and non-deductible tax-deferred accounts by comparing (i) a future after-tax liquidation value of assets held in taxable and non-deductible tax-deferred accounts assuming withdrawals are made from the taxable accounts prior to a withdrawal from the non-deductible tax-deferred accounts and (ii) a future after-tax liquidation value of assets held in taxable and non-deductible tax-deferred accounts assuming withdrawals are made from the non-deductible tax-deferred accounts prior to a withdrawal from the taxable accounts.

Abstract:

Methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, are described for generating an asset allocation recommendation using personalized, household, and trust profiling. A personalized asset allocation recommendation combines pre-defined cohort data with client input and generates a personalized roll-down schedule, which is then used in determining the asset projections and optimal withdrawal amount during distribution phase or optimal savings amount during accumulation phase. The personal profile and its associated asset allocation recommendation and asset allocation planning can be displayed dynamically in real-time fashion on a dashboard. A household asset allocation recommendation takes into consideration of various aspects of household needs that involving planning with multiple goals and accounts. The profiling questionnaire data for irrevocable trust is presented dynamically upon the determination of the structure of the irrevocable trust. Based on the conditionally collected data, an asset allocation that balances various beneficiaries' needs is recommended for the irrevocable trust.
