The present invention is a male catheter securing device for use on male patients having a catheter inserted within their penis. The device is comprised of a cylindrical sleeve portion comprised of strands of non-elastic resilient material. Each end of the cylindrical sleeve portion has attachment means, which anchor the device so as cause elongation and therefore, constriction of the strands when transverse force is applied to the device.
A headgear device for assisting a user in performing bridge exercises to strengthen the muscles of the neck, and exercises performed using the device. The headgear outer surface has an area of low-friction material to allow the headgear to slide on an exercise surface while the user's head supports a portion of his body weight in the bridge position. This allows the user to introduce dynamic resistance into the exercise by moving around on the surface. One or more straps connectable to the user's arms and/or legs can be used to provide stability and/or resistance during the exercise. A friction pad adapted to be removably attached to the outer surface of the headgear can be used to provide resistance to the headgear sliding.
Apparatus And Method Of Measuring Force Of Ejaculation
An apparatus for measuring the force of ejaculation including a cylinder having a length and an internal diameter sufficient to enclose an erect male penis, a groove track extending along at least part of the length of the cylinder, a membrane positioned within the cylinder and oriented substantially perpendicularly to the length of the cylinder, and a connector slide connected to the membrane, the connector slide being configured to suspend the membrane within the cylinder and to slide along groove track as the membrane is caused to moved lengthwise within the cylinder. A method of evaluating the force of ejaculation using the apparatus including inserting a penis into the cylinder and measuring the distance the membrane is propelled lengthwise within the cylinder by the force of semen ejected from the penis.
A flexible catheter having an integral curvature control mechanism is disclosed. This mechanism allows the curvature of the catheter to be changed while at least part of the catheter is in a patient, thereby facilitating positioning of the catheter within the patient.
A manually operable mechanical penile implant for overcoming the effects of male erectile impotence is disclosed. The implant has an elongate housing containing an elongate coil and stop means located between the two ends of the housing. Many or most of the coil turns are normally located between the stop means and the near (or proximal) end of the housing. When the device is to be used, the coil turns are drawn past the stop means toward the far (or distal) end of the housing and are locked between that end and the stop means, thereby providing rigidity (and in preferred embodiments, additional length) to the housing and therefore to the corpus cavernosum in which the device is located. In contrast to known mechanical (i. e. , non-fluidic) implants, in preferred embodiments the implant may be significantly increased in length for use and significantly decreased in length after use.
"He's looking to reclaim his reputation and hold the tour accountable for acting irresponsible," said Jeffrey Rosenblum, one ofSingh'slawyers. "He's concerned about his reputation. There should never be an asterisk next toVijay'sname."
