Frederick R. Giebel, Jr. NJ Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (NJ, 4200094600) website: Houseval.net Mr. Giebel grew up and has resided in Southern New Jersey his entire life with the exception of his time in military service. He studied accounting and business at Rutgers University and has been a member of various real estate, appraisal, business and veterans organizations in the area and is acutely aware of the locational nuances in the South Jersey real estate market. He has been, but has chosen to no longer be, a NJ licensed real estate agent to avoid conflicts with advocacy. Mr. Giebel continues to be a member of the National Association of Realtors and is a member of the local Multiple Listing Service in the areas where he prepares appraisals. He has bought and sold both commercial and residential properties and has experience appraising a broad variety of properties since he entered the appraisal profession in 1981. He is an FHA approved appraiser. Mr. Giebel founded an appraisal firm in the 1980s with upwards of a dozen appraisers and an equal amount of support personnel and for 11 years reviewed the work of the appraisers he supervised as well as preparing appraisals himself. He has been traveling through the same communities and appraising real estate in them for more than 27 years, sometimes appraising the same properties multiple times. His appraisal experience, knowledge and geographical competency provide him with an outstanding background for preparing appraisals in Southern New Jersey. He is a former Army Captain and Field Artillery Battery Commander. He is an "Honor Graduate" of Officer Candidate School and was noted as the "Most Distinguished Graduate Commissioned in Field Artillery" from the NJ Military Academy in his year of graduation.
