Population of NJ's osprey is growing according to reports
Fred Akers, administrator of the Great Egg Harbor River Council said that most ospreys rely on manmade platforms and manmade nests. Akers is not just installing platforms but he also tag osprey chicks. Akers added that osprey returns to their nests after migration including most of their offsprings.
