At the high court yesterday, Kwok was convicted of conspiracy for making the payments. Hui was found guilty on charges of misconduct and conspiracy to commit misconduct in public office. Two middlemen, Thomas Chan and Huis childhood friend Francis Kwan, were found guilty of conspiracy charges.
Two of the middlemen, Sun Hung Kai director Thomas Chan and Francis Kwan - the former non-executive director of investment firm New Environmental Energy Holdings - were both found guilty on two counts in the trial.
