Philosophy:
As a Counselor and Registered Art Therapist I have a client centered approach that uses art making to help the client develop insight regarding their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Recent research applauds Art Therapy as a unique and powerful method for helping clients to process trauma more holistically, thus reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression that often accompany unresolved past issues. I also use meditation and mindfulness to increase a client's coping skills for the future.
