Abstract:
A computer-implemented method of representing user's navigational path in a web environment includes steps of enabling a user to successively display a plurality of pages of a web site or a web application; maintaining a full breadcrumb path that includes a link to each of the plurality of pages previously displayed to the user; displaying a shortened breadcrumb path on a currently displayed page of the plurality of pages, the shortened breadcrumb path including fewer links than the full breadcrumb path, and displaying the full breadcrumb path only when requested by the user. A computer-implemented method of representing a user's current location within a hierarchical structure of a web site or web application includes steps of maintaining a hierarchical map of the web site or web application; generating a web page that has a predetermined level within the hierarchical map; displaying a hierarchical structure selector on the web page, and when the displayed hierarchical structure selector is selected by a user, displaying an indication of the predetermined level and a link to each hierarchically higher level of the generated web page.

Abstract:
A set of data objects is identified satisfying a search query associated with an application adapted to perform a set of transactions on the data objects. A plurality of common attributes are identified, each shared by at least two objects in the set of data objects. A graphical analytics viewer is dynamically selected from a plurality of viewers each adapted to present a representation of data objects according to a corresponding analytics scheme. The selected viewer is selected for presentation in a graphical user interface based on identifying that the viewer has an analytics scheme related to one of the common attributes. Presentation of the selected viewer includes a selectable graphical representation of each data object in the set of data objects. At least one of the graphical representations is selected and a transaction from the set of transactions initiated on the data object corresponding to the selected graphical representation.

Abstract:
At least one analytical operation from a set of different analytical operations may be determined based on at least one input. The input(s) may comprise contextual information of working content being displayed to a user on a device and comprising numerical data. Supplemental information for the working content may be generated using the determined analytical operation(s), may comprise a numerical-based analysis of the numerical data, and may be caused to be displayed to the user concurrently with the working content. The contextual information may comprise structured data. The input(s) may further comprise at least one of a history of the user's interactions with the working content, a history of the user's interactions with recommendations of supplemental information for the working content, a history of other users' interactions with the working content, and a history of other users' interactions with recommendations of supplemental information for the working content.
User Interface For Providing Supplemental Informaton
A user interface for providing supplemental information is disclosed. Working content may be caused to be displayed in a display zone of a graphical user interface of a device. The working content may comprise a plurality of graphical objects. A data overlay may be caused to be displayed in the display zone. The data overlay may overlay and at least partially obscure a corresponding portion of the working content. The data overlay may include unchanged graphical objects and at least one additional graphical object. The unchanged graphical objects in the data overlay may be aligned with and overlay corresponding graphical objects of the plurality of graphical objects in the corresponding portion of the working content. The additional graphical object(s) may represent a modification to the corresponding portion of the working content.
