Neighborhood Watch I started an online and door-to-door petition to urge the V.I. Police Department to take immediate action to stop the string of burglaries within the Anna’s Retreat community. League of Women Voters of the Virgin Islands As president, I prepare and deliver statements on behalf of the League, chair executive board meetings, and oversee the overall development of the organization. Strategic goals during tenure included: Increasing the League’s presence in the community by enhancing the visibility for its advocacy work Revitalization of the Local League Units by improving communication with the membership and recruiting new members Strengthening strategic partnerships among organizations with similar objectives Catholic Charities Bethlehem House In 2006 I co-facilitated a financial literacy four-week program ("Paths to Prosperity") at the Bethlehem House homeless shelter.
